Free Troubleshooting/Programming Tips:
SHARP Tills:
SHARP XEA 102 till shows P on screen, simply turn key to Z/PGM and press ST twice. The register will now print and clear itself. When it stops turn key to REG position.
With any other problems you cannot resolve remove the batteries, turn the till off, now turn back on and refit batteries. Cash register will bleep 3 times and reset to factory status.
REMOVING THE BATTERIES WILL LOSE ANY PROGRAM DATA
SHARP XEA 113
Display shows E32
Turn key to REG position, ring in 1 penny, now press the blue CLK# button which is situated along the top to the right hand side.
Display shows PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP on display. Put new paper roll in to the till, and ensure the paper cover is securely clicked down.
SHARP XEA203/303
Display shows NOT ASSIGNED
Turn key to REG position
Now ring in 1 penny now press blue button CLK# along the top to the right of the keyboard
SHARP XEA213
Display shows HEAD UP
Turn key to REG position.
Press CL button
Display shows NOT ASSIGNED
Turn key to REG
Enter 1 penny now press green button on extreme left hand side of the keyboard marked CLK#
CASIO Tills
CASIO SES 10
Display shows E10
Ensure that paper hood is properly clicked down or replace till roll.
Time Change
Turn key to PGM
Enter 1 press sub total button
Enter time press x/date time button
Press ac/c button
Turn key back to REG
JOB DONE!
CASIO SEG1
Display shows E0 or E10
Remove paper till roll, now place roll back into the paper well of the cash register, ensuring that paper comes from below the roll, close down the paper hood (cover) ensuring that it clicks down firmly on to the till roll.
If zero is flashing on screen, press 0 now press CA/AMT TEND, now enter date, now enter time. Turn key back to REG
Time Change:
Turn key to PGM
Enter 1, press sub total button
Enter time press X/date time button
Now press AC/C button
Turn key back to REG
JOB DONE
CASIO SES400/3000/SEC450/SEC3500
Most problems are rectified by turning the key to X1 position and now press SUB TOTAL button. When printing stops return key to REG position.
If cash register is dead, try removing one battery having turned off till at mains, leave for a few minutes, replace battery and in most instances the cash register will now switch on. However this may lose any programming data in the till

Display shows CLOSED
Ensure key is in REG mode, now press CLERK BUTTON
ER380M/ER420M
Display shows CLOSED
Ensure key is in REG mode
Enter 1 penny now press CLERK button

Turn key to PGM position
Decide which plu number you wish to use
keyboard numbered from 1 to 70.
If you wish to use number 1,
PRESS PLU KEY NUMBERED 1 ON THE KEYBOARD THIS IS TO THE RIGHT OF THE TL/NS KEY, DISPLAY SHOWS ENTER 00 KEY.
Press 00 key and enter the word using the alpha keyboard
NOW PRESS ST AND ENTER THE PRICE,DO NOT PUT IN THE POINT (ie £1.25 enter as 125 now press ST, DISPLAY SHOWS DEPT 1 UNLESS YOU WISH TO CHANGE THIS PRESS ST AGAIN DISPLAY SHOWS PLU TYPE UNLESS YOU WISH TO CHANGE THIS PRESS ST
DISPLAY NOW MOVES ON TO NEXT PLU NUMBER SO PROCEED AS ABOVE.
WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED PRESS TL AT THE END TO LOCK EVERYTHING IN.

Turn the key to the X position, enter 5 press SUB TOTAL PRESS 1 SUB TOTAL
DAILY READINGS AND CLEARING THE TILL Z READING
Turn the key to the Z position, enter 5 press SUB TOTAL PRESS1 SUB TOTAL
WEEKLY/MONTHLY READINGS AND CLEARING TILL
Turn the key to the Z position, enter 205 press SUB TOTAL 201 SUB TOTAL
READING OF THE STOCK SOLD BUT NOT CLEARING THE STOCK
Turn the key to the X position, enter 3 press SUBTOTAL
READING OF THE STOCK SOLD AND CLEARING THE STOCK
Turn the key to the Z position, enter 3 press SUB TOTAL
VOIDS
To clear last entry press VOID
To clear complete transaction press CANCEL
To clear previous individual product press PREVIOUS VOID AND THEN PRODUCT YOU WISH TO CLEAR.
PRICE CHANGES
Turn the key to P enter 200 press SUBTOTAL key enter PLU number on keyboard now press PLU key enter new price, press X/TM. To enter further prices continue by entering next PLU number and repeat sequence. When you have finished you must press CASH KEY and return the operator key to the REG position.
WORD CHANGES
Turn key to OFF position, remove top sheet to show alpha sheet below. Turn key to P enter 300 press SUBTOTAL key enter PLU number on keyboard press PLU key, enter word on keyboard press X/TM. To enter further words continue by entering the next PLU number and repeat sequence. When you have finished you must press CASH KEY and return the operator key to the REG position.
IF PCO OR WARNING COVER OPEN ERR APPEARS ON DISPLAY
Simply press CLEAR, OR CHECK THAT TILL ROLL CONTAINER IS FIRMLY CLOSED( the receipt roll is on the left, the audit roll on the right as you look at the machine
